Dr. Angie Zhang

Leading Faculty – Healthcare Innovation and Ecosystem Leadership

Dr. Angie Zhang is a healthcare innovation strategist, executive educator, and ecosystem builder with extensive experience across healthcare transformation, technology commercialization, and cross-sector leadership development. Her work spans innovation ecosystems in China, Hong Kong, and the United States, bridging perspectives across healthcare, policy, academia, industry, and investment in rapidly evolving global healthcare environments.

 

Dr.Zhang specializes in China’s healthcare system, with profound insights into its complex landscape and diverse stakeholders. At Siemens Healthineers, she worked in cross-cultural teams, translating technologies into clinical value to address unmet needs. At China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS), her healthcare innovation research and business cases gained international recognition, with selected cases collected by Harvard Business School.

 

At China Healthcare Innovation Platform (a non-profit), she combined analytical rigor with practical insight, working closely with founders, executives, and innovation leaders to navigate organizational growth, ecosystem partnerships, and strategic transformation. She initiated Qike50 Healthcare Founders Club, an accelerator co-chaired by Professor John Cai (health economics/policy expert), Professor Feng Xiaoyuan (clinical expert), and Dr. Kaifu Li (Sinovation Ventures). At Jingjinji National Center of Technology Innovation, she advances emerging technologies in Hong Kong and connects them with mainland China’s industrial ecosystem. Throughout her career, Dr. Zhang has been ranked among the leading contributors to supporting enterprises with product registration, market access, scaling, and financing through her professional ecosystem.

 

At LC Business Bridge, Dr. Zhang serves as Leading Faculty in Healthcare Innovation and Ecosystem Leadership. Leveraging her cross-regional experience and deep understanding of healthcare systems, innovation ecosystems, and organizational leadership, she contributes to developing globally minded leaders capable of operating across industries, institutions, and cultures. Her work integrates executive education, leadership mentoring, and ecosystem-based thinking to drive innovation, commercialization, and international collaboration.

 

Dr.Zhang  holds a joint PhD in Photomedicine from Harvard University and Fudan University. Her professional philosophy reflects a strong commitment to advancing healthcare innovation through cross-sector collaboration, leadership development, and integrating global perspectives with local transformation.
