Fengqiong Yang is a BridgeTalk Learning Materials Editorial Contributor and an experienced language educator specializing in English and Chinese-language instruction. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. Through her work with BridgeTalk, she supports the review and refinement of learning materials, helping ensure that the content is linguistically accurate, clear, consistent, and accessible to global learners.
As a dedicated and passionate English teacher, Fengqiong teaches high school students English composition and prepares them for the English component of China’s National College Entrance Examination. She also teaches Chinese as a second language to learners from Canada and the United States, bringing valuable cross-cultural insight to her work as an educator and editorial contributor.
Fengqiong believes that language learning opens doors to new cultures, ideas, and ways of understanding the world. She is committed to helping learners develop practical communication skills while broadening their perspectives and strengthening their ability to connect with people across cultures.
Fengqiong lives in Kunming, Yunnan Province, a region in southwestern China known for its natural beauty and rich cultural diversity. Outside her professional work, she enjoys practicing classical piano, running, exercising, and cooking.
